Caught in the Act Portrait Studio is located in scenic, historic Fenton, Michigan.  The new studio is nestled on 12+ landscaped acres on a 22-acre private lake.  The location provides many outdoor photo opportunities such as a lovely waterfall, a beautiful gazebo, and 2 colorful wildflower patches.  One of the patches is located behind a white picket fence and arbor.  We also have a winding nature path through the woods and a rustic potting shed.

  Caught in the Act is constantly updating the landscaping. The studio was designed especially for and has many aspects that lend themselves to the artistic portraiture for which is noted. To capture the ultimate photographic session, Caught in the Act also travels to many of Michigan’s beaches and historic sites. To compliment your session, we provide your family with props and period costumes to enhance your personal portrait experience.

We are a full service studio and as such recognize that framing is important in preserving your family’s portraits for generations to come. Quality care and the finest conservation materials and methods are used in framing to aid in the preservation of our portraits. We have a frame design specialist on staff.
